Oppo A Series Phone With Camera Module Surfaces Like iPhone 12 Online

Oppo is said to be working on a new A-series smartphone. Leaked images of the alleged handset have surfaced online via a report. The images show the design of the camera module as well as the placement of some switches and electronic games. The camera module appears to be similar to an old iPhone. The report claims that the rumored Oppo phone has also been spotted on several certification sites. The listings hint at some of its camera specifications and an imminent launch in India.

Leaked images shared by a report by 91Mobiles suggest that an upcoming Oppo A-series smartphone is likely to feature a rear camera module similar to that of the iPhone 12. The two camera units are arranged vertically within an island slightly raised and fat camera located in the upper left corner of the rear panel. An LED unit is located next to the camera sensors. The rumored Oppo handset appears in a blue color.

The right and bottom edges of the alleged Oppo A series handset have also been revealed. The right edge holds the volume rocker and power button, while the bottom edge is seen with a USB Type-C port, a microphone, a 3.5mm audio jack as well as a speaker grille. The smartphone is also likely to have a flat screen with dimmed edges and a hole centered at the top to hold the front camera sensor.

New features of Oppo A series smartphones (expected)

The aforementioned report adds that the expected Oppo A series phone will feature a Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is expected to offer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

According to the report, an Oppo smartphone with model number CPH2681 was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. This handset is expected to be the rumored Oppo A series phone. The BIS listing suggests an imminent launch of the model in India.

The report added that an upcoming Oppo smartphone with model number CPH2681 was also spotted on the Kamera FV-5 website. This listing doesn’t reveal the phone’s camera sensor sizes, but suggests that the main rear camera will have a 27.4mm focal length and f/2.0 aperture with support for Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). Meanwhile, the front camera will also come with EIS support, as well as a 27.7mm focal length and f/2.2 aperture.
